Smoke de Phatte is the newly opened restaurant in Channi Himmat area of Jammu City. Good Location, Nice ambience and courteous staff.
Good Restaurant with a variety on the platter to offer. The restaurant is divided into 2 floors with the ground floor acting as a live kitchen and take away place, while the first floor is for dine-in.
We visited this place on a warm afternoon for lunch, the ambience was good. Visited around 2 pm, and the staff was getting ready to serve the customers in the evening. But it was too early to visit this restaurant especially to have their signature dishes like Grilled Chicken. We ordered Alfredo Chicken Pasta and Smoke de Mainnu. To our surprise, they served it quickly.
Pasta
Presentation was good, quantity didn’t look much but it was heavy, more than enough to satiate 2 people.
Pasta was super creamy and yummy. Chicken was tender, juicy & properly cooked with sausages stuffed in it. Vegetables were perfectly cooked too giving sweet flavour. I liked the food very much.
A Suggestion: Better to visit after 5 pm.
Over all the food was up to the mark. but I was pretty disappointed with the cooling facility in the room, just 1 split AC installed to cover the whole room. And the erratic power supply(common issue in Jammu), caused lot of issues. Though they do have power generator, but still not worth enough. Sweated it out a lot. Administration seriously need to look into this matter.
It’s a bit expensive but then it gives you a very different aura of the food.
